I was wearing my motivational speaker hat, getting ready to speak to a group of teachers. And while I was doing that - I was musing to myself. I’m a high maintenance dental patient. That’s right - a motivational speaker who is a high maintenance dental patient. It’s almost an oxymoron. But it’s true. I just think about going to the dentist and my left eye starts twitching. And what makes this really fascinating is that I am also the (self-proclaimed) World’s Most Experienced Dental Patient. Okay - so I am a motivational speaker NOW - but I used to be a professional actress, performing on stages in lots of plays where the characters were VERY colorful and the costumes were straight from periods of long ago.  I remember rehearsing for weeks learning all the nuances of my character, but it wasn't until we started rehearsing in costumes - that the magic really began to happen.  I remember playing the role of Celia in As You Like It and what happened when I first put on the costume.
